20 Years of Arrin
Enda's Theme

Quartz
Guitar quarter tone curiosity with foot operated bassline!

Flute : Andréa Ingham
Guitar : Richard Heaney

CD :  arrin@arrin.com

A selection of live takes and edited live takes from the turn of the century, "Compilation" is a representation of Arrin's own music from the previous decade. The other two CD's include the most recent Arrin recordings.
Frith (2007) has 8 tracks of flute/guitar acoustic music, 6 beautiful, philosophical or haunting songs and  a cover photo by J.Moreton.
On these latest albums, Arrin have avoided overdubs.* (How often the conscientious guitar student toils over a guitar 'solo' only to conclude after hours of frustration that it was recorded as a duet!)

(Arrin accept no responsibility for pages not linked from this one.)

Older Arrin Albums (pre- 'compilation'):

The poular 'Chanson Martienne' is on the Compilation CD.

THE BASS LINE IN THE SAMPLE  OF 'QUARTZ' OPPOSITE, IS RECORDED USING A 'PERCUTRUM BARYTAR' , A GUITAR DESIGNED TO BE PLAYED WITH THE FEET (patent pending.) This version is not on any CD yet, but a version of 'Quartz' (without the bassline) is on the CD of Arrin's concert at le Périer in August 2007. Please email us for details.
